Terms of Service

1. About us

Hearthly is a shared household app operated by Endevr ("we", "us") from South Africa. By using Hearthly you agree to these terms, so we've ordered them in the way you'd use the app: what it is, who can use it, how you pay, and what to do if things change.

2. The service

Hearthly provides shared household tools including chores, grocery lists, expense splitting, calendar sync and optional location sharing. Features may evolve over time as the app improves.

3. Accounts

Anyone can create an account and use Hearthly. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account and household. Where a household member is under 18, the adult who manages that household's subscription is responsible for their use of the app.

4. Hearthly Premium & billing

• Hearthly Premium is a household subscription billed monthly in advance at R149 in South African Rand (ZAR), VAT inclusive.
• Payments are processed by Paystack. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
• One Premium subscription covers all members of a single household.
• We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.

5. Cancellations & refunds

You can cancel at any time; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the app, attempt to access it unlawfully, or use it for fraudulent purposes. Location sharing is opt-in and must only be used with the consent of the person being located.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act and South African law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
